Tanya and her sister both had a cat, Dragonfly & Firefly. Their cat loving mum felt so left out she returned home one summer’s eve with a gorgeous grey kitten. He was named Casey and he had the softest, finest fur known to cat. Being the youngest he was always up to mischief. Often, to annoy his older feline brothers he would get underneath the curl of a rug and wait for the passing of ginger ankles before pouncing. Cardboard boxes must contain magnets which attract all cats, often they need to jump in before all the contents have been removed, but Tanya had never seen a cat try and get in a box as small as the one Casey was attempting! Needless to say it was seconds after he’d squeezed himself in that the box ripped, releasing the crazy kitten from within. After a few years, Tanya became the only cat-person at home. The maths of three cats and one friendly lap didn’t add up, so Casey decided to relocate himself to another cat-loving family a few doors away. However, he drops in periodically to say hello and join his brothers for supper.
