Oscar belongs to one of Jane’s neighbours. His mother Maisie gave birth to him & his siblings on her sofa three years ago. Jane says “I think Maisie preferred my quiet abode to her rather busy home where there are two dogs, two cats, three children, a parrot & several other small furries!_I was truly honoured that she chose to lay down beside me on the sofa & then give birth, an incredible experience.” Jane was delighted to be offered the grey tortie kitten – Juno, & also see Oscar whenever he chooses to pop by. Oscar is a fabulous cat, a little distant but so very gentle & he loves a comfortable place to sleep. Jane operates an open house policy when it comes to cats & word has certainly spread within the feline community that No.8 is the perfect retreat for any cat looking for a bit of fuss or some p&q.
