You know you’ve had a special holiday when you return home with a Border Terrier puppy in your arms. Claire & Giles had been looking for a dog without much luck so their interest was piqued when they saw a battered old sign outside a riding stables near St. Ives. Feeling a little dubious they enquired & were taken over to the barn to see the one remaining boy pup snuggled up with his mum. KC registered, it was love at first sight & inspired by the location he was duly named. Barney was heading home. Tennis balls, swimming, walks & cuddles make it into the top ten of his “favourite things” list but Barney’s No.1 passion has to be sunpuddling. You know, finding sun puddles, lounging in them & soaking up the warmth for as long as it lasts. Barney is the most mellow & relaxed Border Terrier Claire has ever known, he sings after his supper & will do anything for buttered toast. Claire & Giles adore him. Shame on those cynics who claim holiday romances never last!
