Dougie The Jack Russell. Dougie has been Sally’s sidekick from the moment he opened his eyes 6 years ago. Sally breeds Jack Russells and where they had previously had litters of five, Dougie was a singleton. Having lost her other Jack, she planned to have one from the next litter, she wanted a boy and a scruffy one. Destiny! Dougie took rather a long time to walk as he was sooooo fat enjoying milk for five, he loves to talk and grumbles a lot in his sleep. Dougie is passionate about digging and if you’re gardening he’s undoing every bit of your work as fast as he can but he’s a sensitive soul and hates being told off, it makes him sulk. Luckily, there’s rarely a need to tell him off as everything he does is for a laugh, he is the lovable class clown. If there’s a knee he wants to be on it, if you’ve climbed a ladder he’ll be behind you. Dougie is most definitely the Peter Pan of the dog world and Sally’s beloved furry shadow.
