Company founder, Anna began her business by creating designs from her art sketches at the local animal shelter in Ashbourne, Derbyshire. Rescue dogs are the heart of this company. Our favourite rescue dog coaster designs include Battersea rescue Leonard breaking free on the beach, Dogs Trust rescue Marley the Yellow Labrador and the all time greatest legend and liability, Basil the Heinz 57. This classic Little Dog Laughed design featuring Battersea Dogs & Cats Home rescues Barney and Woody. At No.2 we have a password notebook from The Little Dog Laughed’s stationery collection.
This excellent password reminder notebook also contains many other useful information reminder pages plus more of Anna Danielle’s dog illustrations. It features Teddy the Jack Russell & Joshie the £20,000 Battersea rescue basket case! Joshie limped into Battersea with a deformed paw and was diagnosed as a “behavioural nightmare”. It took days to get a collar and lead on him and he seemed unrehomeable. However, away from kennels, he was a completely different dog and despite a lifetime of illnesses that amounted to £20,000 of veterinary care he had a great life with his owner Wendy and best pal Teddy.
