About the Muse

When Tink arrived at Dogs Trust Evesham, this little dachshund was so terrified she lay shaking behind her bed in the puppy block. Tink was smuggled into the UK and had made the journey alone, without any litter mates. Tracey, Assistant Operations Manager at Dogs Trust for over thirty years, took tiny Tink home during her lunch hour. You can guess the rest of the story! Initially Tracey hid Tink’s food in empty toilet rolls as a means of feeding enrichment and play. Tink still loves this game but amusingly, they now keep the bathroom door firmly closed as she never waits for the toilet roll to be finished! What a positive change from the little dog in the corner desperately trying to stay invisible.
