December Pets of the Month

December Pets of the Month.  December’s Pet of the Month competition broke all voting records and we had some fabulous photos to paw over! The response was so big we decided on three furry gorgeous ones to share this months title and enjoy a £60 Little Dog goodie box of prizes.

In alphabetical order here are the furry Superstars you voted for.

Hugo the Labradoodle

HUGO - HUGO B THOMPSON12310094_1647439728829267_6943852292856286185_o

We are delighted to be in your top 3! Hugo is a Pat dog, we work for Pets As Therapy which is a voluntary charity. http://www.petsastherapy.org We’re currently working on the Read to Dogs programme where children who aren’t quite as confident as others read to Hugo. He loves it as they just spoil him rotten! We also visit local care homes, day centers and hospitals. Hectic at times but our aim is to make people smile, it’s what we do best!

Maggie the Tri-paw Wonder dog
Maggie - Clare henderson

Thank you for choosing Maggie as 1 of your winners. Maggie is approximately 7 years old & she is a rescue who I’ve had for just over 4 years. Earlier this year she was diagnosed with cancer in her paw & she lost a front leg in May but it hasn’t stopped her, she’s still a happy little soul & a perfect ambassador for rescue dogs & disabled dogs everywhere. We love her to bits and are overwhelmed with all her votes, thank you one and all :-) Clare.

Ziva The Malamute

Ziva - Dawn FidoZiva is a rescued Malamute and my beautiful fur baby. She’s such an amazingly brave girl, an ex back yard breeding bitch who had a very very bad start to life, caged outside and used only for breeding. Even through all that she just wants to be loved and is a complete cuddle monster. She is currently battling cancer and the prognosis is not great. I’m so amazed at the people who have come together to vote for my girl. I’ve never entered her in a competition before and I’m very happy she can be honoured in this way. I would like to donate her prize to Malamute Matters http://malamutematters.co.uk to help raise funds for other rescue doggies like herself.

Many thanks

Dawn
