The Little Dog Laughed Tries Ai
Finally, The Little Dog Laughed tries Ai with funny results. The 2027 artwork is done so I’m back to creating and updating product imagery for all our newly arrived spring stock and I thought, come on Anna, be openminded, have a little go at this Ai stuff that creates fabulous images in seconds.
So I took a product image of our new pocket sized travel water bowls and asked an Ai design program to add a Peak District scenery to the background.
Just under a minute later, ( my studio has snail pace internet speed ) voila! So far so good.
Then I asked it to add a dog drinking out of the bowl.
It took a minute to put a dog in the water bowl, swimming.
I asked it to remove the dog.
Another minute later it gave me the same image.
I said put the dog behind the bowl and show the feet.
It left the dog in the bowl but added four feet to the base of the bowl, think footstool from Disney’s Beauty and the Beast.
At this point I lost all patience. Admittedly it doesn’t take much!
I turned instead to my sibling WhatsApp group. Some of you may know that I work with both my brothers. They love hiking and as we have the Peak District on our doorstep, their weekends are often spent roaming the hills and valleys. They also like to snap the best landscape shot and ping their stunning scenery photos at 5am on a Saturday or Sunday morning. I’m usually still in bed planning a relaxing day by the washing machine.
So I downloaded all their photos and had a little play with photoshop. Admittedly it took a chunk of the day, not the Ai nanoseconds I keeping hearing about, but it was personal and fun.
And I think my own scenic beach photos turned out the best, sibling rivalry is alive and well at The Little Dog!
I’m going to use some of the photos for reels but the first one made me laugh the most when Nath, my youngest brother asked when we’d started selling hot tubs.
Arh, SO that’s why Ai automatically put the dog in the bowl!
