Our 2027 Dog Calendars & Diaries Are Here

 2027 Dog Calendars & Diaries

They’re here, actually here at Little Dog Towers after a two month delay triggered by me missing the artwork deadline by two weeks. Note to self, start 2028 today!

After months of drawing, looking, painting, discarding, starting again and mounting deadline panic and (if I’m honest) more than one wonky ear redrawn at midnight, our 2027 dog calendar and diary collection has finally landed. And it might just be my favourite line-up yet.

Every year I ask our Little Dog Laughed community to send in their favourite pet photos for our Search for a Superstar competition, and every year I’m heartened by the stories of love and hope that come with them. It’s such a tonic to switch off from world news and immerse myself in the joy and kindness that radiates from every entry. This year was no different. Twelve muses made the cut for the 2027 dog calendar, each one created in watercolour from a real photo, with a real story behind them.

Meet a Few of This Year’s Muses

You’ll find some gorgeous characters in this year’s calendar, including:

Fergal the Lurcher

A cheeky repeat offender and firm Little Dog favourite, now back on his bounce after a poorly spell.

Ferdie the Welsh Cardigan Corgi

Impeccable in the show ring, an absolute menace everywhere else!

Millie the French Bulldog

Proof that Frenchies have officially earned their place in the range.

Dougie the Wirehair Jack Russell

Painted in loving memory, capturing him mid-sniff in the sunshine, exactly as his owner Sally will always remember him.

Every muse is different, but they all have one thing in common: a real dog, loved by a real family, painted with real care.

Something New for 2027

The Month to View Diary

2027 Month to View Diary

This year we’re launching something our customers have been asking for, a pocket size  2027 Month to View dog diary. Packed with useful extras like notes pages and a birthday reminder spread, so it’s as practical as it is pawsome! There’s a bigger heart behind this one too. As part of our ongoing partnership with Dogs Trust, twelve of the illustrations inside are taken from our A Dog’s Life gift book, which features fifty portraits of real Dogs Trust rescue dogs living their happily-furever-afters.

Why Our Customers Come Back Every Year

If you’re new to all things Little Dog, alongside date boxes that are actually big enough to write in, and intentionally darker  covers on the diaries to ensure they weather well in a year of turbulent tote bag living, here’s what gives our calendars and diaries that added extra feeling:

1. Original watercolour artwork — every dog is hand-painted, not a photo print.
2. Real dogs, real stories — each muse comes from our Little Dog community, not a stock library.
3. Charity partnership — the 2027 dog calendars and diaries directly supports Dogs Trust.
