The Chaos Committee
Some cats prefer a quiet and peaceful existence. Super happy to keep humanity at arms length and their days turned to low profile. The ones in this year’s calendar do not. Meet four members of The Chaos Committee! Stars of our 2027 cat calendar and diary offerings to keep you organised and amused throughout the year.

Oreo
Oreo and his sister Juno joined the Oliver family as kittens from the same litter. Yet it’s likely they have different fathers, (superfecundation — it’s a real thing). While Juno stayed small and sleek, Oreo grew into a huge, full Maine Coon-lineage unit! More dog-like than cat, he chases tennis balls and has mastered the paw-raise-and-beg skill. He even waits loyally by the gate at tea time for hubby to return from work. Such irony as this is the man who originally voted against a long-haired male cat! The joy of unattended sandwiches, birthday cake, and Christmas biscuits, are in Oreo eyes, clearly fair game. But serial thievery has consequences. Oreo is still working through his outraged after the vet enrolled him in the Feline Fat Fighters club. On the plus side, The Olivers’ kitchen has never been tidier!

Luffy
Meet the youngest member of the greatest multi-cat household ever. Luffy’s introduction to the resident cats required a crate and roughly four months of careful, nerve-shredding diplomacy! Once free, his true personality emerged: a chaos gremlin who believes everyone wants to play tag at all times. He is still learning, very slowly, that they don’t. Luffy has full outdoor access but has decided it’s overrated compared to radiators, reliable food, and cuddles. All of which he now regards as his birthright!

Rosie
Rosie has finally grown into her ears and paws, and ignores her expensive toys in favour of chasing a scrunched-up ball of paper. She attempts a haughty supermodel strut that’s undercut somewhat by both back legs swinging out mid-walk. She sharpens her claws on everything except her pristine scratching post, and sleeps behind the television convinced no one can see her there.

Austin
A ten-year-old Bengal cross, Austin is seven parts cat and three parts dog. He often joins Susie and his dog brother on walks, and pop in to the local Tesco. Fully vocal on arriving home, he expects to be acknowledged and is a familiar face and voice on Susie’s Teams calls. Austin pretends he can’t reach the cat flap but then climbs to the roof and demands entry through the office skylight! And when he’s not climbing or rambling he continues his top scoring status in his all-time favourite game of Toe Catch-or-Scratch.
